4th of July celebrations

We bought a lovely strawberry cheesecake from Mike's Pastry for Rick's party. The biscotti was really good as well. There's always a queue here, but they sell really good stuffs here.

Cheesecake from cheesecake factory! Nao's Key Lime cheesecake is good. My white chocolate peanut butternut truffle cheesecake not so.


And yummy clam chowder in a bread bowl. From the food court in Prudential.

This is the New England Holocaust Memorial. 6 towers with glass panes 6 level high on which are inscribed numbers. The 6 million numbers were identity of people who died during the Holocaust.

The plan was to go to Boston Harbour Hotel to catch a free friday flick. But there was too many people. But I did see a speedboat wedding!

Went to Rick's party on friday. Martinis, beautiful people (no, I'm not talking about myself) and a fantastic view overlooking Boston.

I brought my pencils, my sketchbook and my erasers, everything I thought I'll need to entertain myself when I'm bored.

Everything but a sharpener. And thus the sketch lies incomplete.

I'm struck by a sudden fear of not having enough money.

This is 'Ah Hong'. Haha... PQ bought it for me. I don't think she knows it, but she's supposed to know how to flip like the rest of her colony. She's a non-flippable mechanical ladybug that only does twirls.

I made my first clay bead!

This is my little unazukin. I call her Una for short.

And I managed to dig up this sketchbook of mine, and realised there's so many drawings I started with want of producing something nice for my wall, and gave up nowhere near completion due to plain laziness.

Managed to find a recipe for 凉面. Yummy!

I tried making tamagoyaki. It's supposed to be rectangular, not triangular. I am convinced, however, it is due to absence of a Makiyakinabe that has prevented me from producing a otherwise would have been perfect tamagoyaki.
